  • Learn more about who you are and what strengths you have as a leader for change.
  • Develop real-world experience with being both an advocate and an activist to end global poverty and injustice.
  • Learn transferrable skills from experts – in leadership, community development, marketing, international development, and social change.
  • Lead right where you are, bringing World Vision to your school, campus, or community
  • Priority access to World Vision Youth trips and experience development projects in the field (fundraising required)
  • Gain not only unique life experience but open the doors to many other leadership opportunities

World Vision Youth Ambassadors in the past have gone on to join World Vision staff, become champions of social justice, and even launch their own non-profit organizations impacting the world. Join a national community challenging one another in making something awesome happen.

Changing the world isn’t easy, but let’s do it anyway!

Why Do It?

The World Vision Youth Ambassador Program is a life-changing leadership experience. However, it’s not for everyone.

  • It’s for those who want to make their lives count.
  • It’s for those who are willing to take risks and make mistakes.
  • It’s for those who want to push the human race forward.
  • It’s for those who believe a better world is possible.

If this is you, our world needs you at your very best. Through the Youth Ambassador Program you will:

  • Be part of a community of change makers.
  • Discover where your talents, passions, and the needs of the world intersect.
  • Gain transferable skills through hands-on training experiences.
  • Build friendships through taking action towards justice together.

Besides a snazzy official Youth Ambassador certificate for every year you are involved and taking action, Youth Ambassadors also have the opportunity to:

  • Join the World Vision National Youth Leadership Council.
  • Become an official World Vision Youth speaker and trainer.
  • Participate in Global Youth Engagement programs.
  • Apply for World Vision Canada Internships and Leadership Trip experiences.
